| Here are the joists for the old deck. The original owners, being rather 'frugal,' didn't replace the rotted ones when they replaced the decking on top. They sistered a couple of short pieces of 2x4 on the worst parts to obscure, I mean 'fix' them. |

| Notice the lack of tools in this picture. Bob was literally able to tear big chunks off the old deck barehanded. We probably should have made replacing the deck a higher priority. |
