Forbidden / E'Vietato / No / Il est Interdit / Nicht Gestattet
Many of the churches and museums or Italy have signs posted to advise tourists that either all photos or just flash photos are not permitted. They have fairly easy-to-understand icons to indicate this. But many of the icons are not so easy to understand, so here's a handy guide that can help keep you out of trouble:

No photos.

No flash photography.

No cell phones.

There's no point in having a violin if you don't have a bow. Don't try to push this building over. There are enough ruins already. There aren't any wines that go well with hot dogs and a potato.
Poodles are French. You're in Italy now. Dude! That is so lame. When are you going to get an iPod? If you put holes in your luggage or your purse, you'll be sorry.

I think it's safe to say that you won't be getting into the Vatican in retro swimwear:
