The Trip Istanbul Scenes Experiences Terrain Cappadocia History Ruins Food Photo Gallery

If you like what you saw in the main pages, you may want to have a look a these galleries. We tried to use the galleries as a way to gather up some of our most interesting photos in one spot to give you a better idea of what we did and what we saw during our visit to the amazing country of Turkey.

Our families expressed concern when we announced our intention to visit Turkey. Yes, it's closer to some conflicts than Seattle and the people are predominantly Muslim, but it seemed like a great trip to us. And the people of Turkey didn't let us down. They were uniformly friendly and welcoming to us. We never once felt like we in any sort of danger, unless having our taxi driver seeming to get completely lost in Istanbul counts as danger. Turkey would be a great country to visit again, and I hope we get the chance!
